MTSG was founded in 2018 by 3 MedTech Executives with over 75 years in combined experience and success in globally commercializing medical devices that improved patient outcomes, lowered costs of care, and in several cases, changed the way healthcare is practiced.

Completing the Leadership Team are 5 regionally based Executives, 2 of which have worked with the founders over the last 25 years, and our Office Manager / Executive Assistant. The majority of the MTSG Team came together at KCI in 1995 to Launch VAC Therapy, and create the now $2B Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Category.

Prior to, and since the KCI experience, the MTSG team has a proven history both individually and together, of launching new technologies and growing brands with multiple types of wound and skin care technologies, and other disposable and capital equipment medical devices.

Over the years, the MTSG team has learned how to overcome the challenges of marketing and selling medical devices in different regions and countries around the word. As a result, MedTech Solutions Group was founded to provide medical device manufacturers with an option to contract with an experienced team already in place around the world to accelerate the international revenue growth of your brand(s).

The MedTech Solutions Group provides a one-stop solution for your international medical device commercialization needs. We work with our clients to 1) define their international commercialization objectives; 2) develop their International marketing, sales, and clinical strategies; and 3) execute and manage their international commercialization plan for existing brands or new technologies at a country level.

Over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including Director of Marketing roles at Acelity, Spiracur, and Prescient Surgical, as well as marketing positions at Medtronic, Kyphon, Abbott Vascular, and Synthes. Global experience in commercializing medical technologies across a broad range of therapeutic areas, encompassing wound care, infection prevention, biomaterials, orthopedics, spine, and interventional cardiology.

Jacob Crawford

Business Analyst

Experienced in business analytics, data organization, and business development who has supported executives in administration and business development. Prior to MTSG, Jacob has worked in healthcare systems and automotive markets in different areas of analysis for sales, logistics, data optimization and development.

Carol Robinson

Business Director, Canada

Over 30 years of experience in sales management, strategic marketing, and executive leadership positions with top-performing medical device companies, including KCI Medical Canada and Hollister Ltd, Canada. Carol’s experience and expertise in the healthcare market allowed her to execute strategic product launches that built profitable, differentiated brands with strong and consistent growth.

Experienced in business analytics, data organization, and business development who has supported executives in administration and business development. Prior to MTSG, Jacob has worked in healthcare systems and automotive markets in different areas of analysis for sales, logistics, data optimization and development.

Candy Chen

VP & General Manager Southeast Asia

Experienced sales leader with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Candy was the past owner of Trefle Fleurir, the PolyMem distributor in Malaysia, and has represented multiple medical device and wound care brands in Southeast Asia including PolyMem, Getz, GE, Curea, Olympus, Mebo and Urgo.

Over 20 years experience representing PolyMem and other products in the wound care space initially as an owner of a distribution company in Australia and for the last 14 years as the Regional Director for Asia Pacific.

Paul Murphy

Over 30 years experience in the wound care industry, most recently as the Worldwide Head of Wound Care for Convatec, based in Switzerland. Paul has also held leadership roles within the wound care franchises of BSN Medical, KCI, and Smith and Nephew; as well as leading an award-winning start-up in the wound management space.

Debbie Royder

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

Experienced executive assistant and office management professional who has supported senior executives in the administrative, legal, and wound care businesses. Prior to MTSG, Debbie has worked with Chris and other members of the MTSG team at KCI, Systagenix, and Atteris.

Theresa Wilson

Director, Clinical Services       

Over 17 years of experience as a clinical practitioner with a primary focus on advanced wound and ostomy care. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management.  She is a Full-Scope Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse Specialist and participates in several professional wound care organizations.
